after 9 months of hiatus, SHINee is back and with a devil's vengeance [Lucifer, devil, get it? lol]. but im not going to be a total fangirl and write about how they're so damn good at performing, how powerful their voices are live, how very good-looking they are, or that they'd won today's Music Bank. {:
the point in this post is THAT, the body harnesses that they're seen in here. i swear i smiled/grinned when i saw JongHyun stepping out with his, then even wider when i saw Taemin, Key and Minho with those. it made me happy enough to excuse their stylist for making Onew and Taemin wear pants that emphasized their crotch. tsk. now, if i only knew as much as William of Dripping Lazers about making one..
ps. sorry for the drought, took me awhile to decide not to close this down. will be back soon with more posts, hopefully!

just a drop of crimson red.
(vintage sheer blouse, distressed shorts, cross multi-chain necklace, knuckle ring, 2-finger heart ring from F21, Kate Spade's Nylon Sam with tab)
i've been trying to work my outfits round this gorgeous red boxy bag that i got from Kate Spade while in the California. i've only brought it out once since i got it earlier this January and i think it, and my black leather bag from Barney's, deserve more usage! at last, success me thinks. i wish i had a photo to show how the blouse really is though. maybe next time. for now, pardon what the flash of my camera has exposed. haha.

Alexander Mcqueen Resort 2011
I'm sure that this long-awaited collection will garner tons of reviews, criticisms or love. Whether positive or not, i personally think that it still portrays the extravagance that was Alexander Mcqueen, albeit on a more subtle note.
It is undeniable that some prolly had doubts about Sarah Burton, although she was a long-time colleague and right-hand design aide of Lee. Yet we must acknowledge that there really isn't anyone that can just hop in place to fill Lee's big shoes and i believe that Burton did try her best to produce a "creation of modern, beautifully crafted clothes (that) was at the heart of Lee's vision."
Although im not loving the design of the black and gold dresses, i guess the colour combination makes up for it. On the whole, I admit im sold, thanks to the femininity of the uneven-hem dress in nude and the flowy bright-red chiffon gown in contrast with the sharpness of the other pieces. I also see more "wearable" pieces in this collection tbh.
Of course, this collection pales in comparison to the Alexander Mcqueen Spring 2010 collection that was, phenomenal. But really, it's going to take a lot of magic for anyone to create something more extraordinary than what Lee did there.

For me, viewing this collection is like trying to savour a sweet after having a mint. The sweet may be a bit lack-lustre compared to the explosion you experienced having the mint earlier, but you still can't help but love the taste of the sweet coupled with the refreshing after-taste of the mint that lingered. Lee would be proud. [:

Miss A loves AA
honestly, i've never though i'd bother with news about JYP's new group Miss A, much less have an entry about them here. but take a look, they can dance, very well at that. of course, what caught my eye wasn't their dancing ability or flexibility but their clothes, duh. im not exactly sure but i think i spot quite a number of American Apparel pieces. one of them being the Gloria-V bodysuit that has gained a lot of love from fashion bloggers. Megan Fox also wore this for the cover shoot of a Rolling Stone magazine. im still waiting for the day i see someone wearing it in Singapore. it'd be quite a sight to the general public here. {:
